The non-profit corporation ArtInPlace, under the sponsorship of the City of Charlottesville, has established sites around the city to make art accessible to the general public. It presents outdoor sculptures that provide the Charlottesville community with a wide range of artistic styles, themes and media. It also sponsors a yearly exhibit of two-dimensional work representing views of Charlottesville.
