Hospice of Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County provides palliative care and support for patients with terminal illnesses and their families. The Hospice is licensed by the state of Virginia and certified by JCAHO. Care is based primarily in the home, and an in-patient unit is available for short hospitalization. Full-time staff includes a director, manager, three registered nurses, two home health aides, social worker, bereavement, and volunteer coordinator.
