The Residence Bed and Breakfast is located on historic Rivermont Avenue in Lynchburg, Virginia. It was built in 1915 as the residence for the president of Randolph-Macon Woman's College, and college presidents resided here until 1983. During those years many well-known writers, artists, statesmen and celebrities, including Elizabeth Taylor, President Gerald Ford, Georgia O'Keeffe and Pearl S. Buck, were entertained here. Guestrooms are eclectically furnished with twin, full or queen-size beds and private baths. Room amenities include in-room phones, clock radios, ceiling fans, Oriental rugs, antiques and central air-conditioning.
