Spotsylvania Virginia

Spotsylvania is located in Spotslyvania County in the Eastern Region of the state. The Battle of Spotsylvania Court House was fought here May 8-21, 1864. The site is preserved as part of Fredricksburg and Spotsylvania County National Military Park. It is located just southeast of Fredricksburg on Hwy 738; Lake Anna and Lake Anna State Park are nearby. Spotsylvania is part of the Washington metro area.
