Roosevelt Island

This 88 acre memorial to the nation's 26th President lies in the Potomac River between Rosslyn, Virginia and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Several species of trees and varieties of wildflowers flourish.

The island is accessible by pedestrian bridge from the Virginia shore.
