This 1,200 acre park is along the Roanoke River Gorge right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It offers wildlife watching opportunities along with a frontier settlement, a North American wilderness zoological park and an environmental education center. Hiking trails, 5 miles of mountain bike trails and a wetland are also available.
