Scheduled to open in April 2005, the new Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is located across from the Children's Museum of Virginia. The 35,000-square-foot building on two floors that will house novel interactive exhibits, fascinating interpretive displays, legendary sports memorabilia, a 125-seat theater, changing exhibitions, an education outreach division, areas for activities and games, and the Hall of Honor, a tribute to Virginia's greatest athletes. A place where you can play your way into sports history.
