The Walton's Mountain Museum, established in 1992, is located in the old Schuyler Elementary School better known as the Schuyler Community Center across the street from the boyhood home of Earl Hamner. The museum features re-creations of sets from "The Walton's" show including John-Boy's room, the kitchen, living room and Ike Godsey's store. It also shows some of the memorabilia including the Baldwin sisters' 'recipe' machine.
