West Point Virginia

West Point is located in King William County in the Eastern Region of the state. It was named after the West brothers - Thomas, Francis, Nathaniel and John. Three of the brothers were governors of Virginia; John patented the land that encompasses the townsite. Well-known residents have included Lewis Burwell "Chesty" Puller, the most decorated Marine in U.S. history.
