Built by the Danes in 1753, it was the first Danish Lutheran
Church on St. Croix. It is now a national park museum and
contains exhibits documenting the island's Indian habitation.
There is also an extensive array of archaeological artifacts,
a handful of displays concerning the plantation experience,
and exhibits on the architectural development of Christiansted,
the early history of the church, and Alexander Hamilton, the
first secretary of the U.S. Treasury, who grew up in St. Croix.
