Tillett Gardens

Tillet Gardens, located east of Charlotte Amalie is an oasis

of artistic endeavor's. Once an old Danish Farm, Tillett Gardens

was transformed into an artist's retreat more than 40 years ago.

You can watch craftspeople and artisans produce silk-screen

fabrics, pottery, candles, watercolors, gold jewelry, stained

glass, and other handicrafts. There's usually something special

happening in the gardens as well: the Classics in the Gardens

program is a classical music series presented under the stars,

and Arts Alive is a visual arts and crafts festival

held four times yearly.
