Built by General Santa Anna of Mexico circa 1857, the villa
still provides a panoramic view of the Charlotte Amalie
harbor along with plenty of West Indian charm. This St. Thomas
landmark is close to town with pool, five villa-style rooms with
dark wicker furniture, white and plaster stone walls, shuttered
windows and cathedral ceilings. Villas La Torre and La Mansion
are split level with spiral staircases, and all units have full
kitchens, ceiling fans and either four-poster or cradle beds.
No telephones in rooms to keep the historical significance
intact.
