This is a second generation, family-operated inn whose proprietors believe in providing their guests with a home away from home atmosphere. Eight guestrooms are furnished with antiques; each has its own private bath. When guests feel like socializing, relaxing or just reading a book, they can wander down to the living room and enjoy the warmth of a fire from a 16-foot fieldstone fireplace.
As guests awake in the morning, it will be to the aroma of fresh, brewed coffee and just-baked breads and muffins, all from their own kitchen.
After a delicious and hearty breakfast in the dining room next to a European "kachelofen," (tiled oven) guests will be ready to set out on a day's activities, while looking forward to returning to this home away from home.
