Artisans Hand

Search Montpelier Vermont

Artisans Hand displays clay, fiber, glass, jewelry and print products, among others. The cooperative was founded in fall 1978 by a group of craftspeople to be an outlet for their work. Since then, Artisans Hand has grown into a handsome gallery. Now located in the center of Montpelier, the facility is still owned and operated by area artisans, including several who founded the store more than a quarter of a century ago. The cooperative thrives on its teamwork and commitment to select and display top-drawer current Vermont craft work. Each month, new items are juried by its board.
