Hickory Ridge House

Built in 1808, Hickory Ridge House is a Federal manor house listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The house offers six guest rooms namely, Blue Room, Yellow Room, Peach Room, Rose, Lilac and Autumn. The rooms feature private baths, fireplaces, bathrobes, in-room telephone, A/C in summer and a TV/VCR. The Theophilus Crawford House Cottage, has its own private deck, living room with a wood burning fireplace, eat-in kitchen and contains two guest quarters, the Blacksmith Suite and the King Bedroom. A country fresh breakfast which includes herb omelets and buttermilk pancakes with Vermont maple syrup is served on an outdoor deck facing gardens and tree lines, or in front of the wood-burning stove. On weekends, a late afternoon tea is served complete with banana breads, apple cakes or other oven-baked specialties. Area activities include biking, hiking, swimming and cross-country skiing.
