The Community College of Vermont is a Vermont State College. CCV is a non-campus institution that offers courses and degree programs at 12 locations throughout Vermont and online. It provides quality, affordable education to nearly 8,000 students each year. CCV does not have a central campus with housing facilities. Instead it serves students where they live and work.

CCV is an open-admissions college. Students range in age from 14 to 78. They enroll for a single course or full-time study, choosing a pace that works for them. CCV offers about 1,000 courses each fall and spring and 400 in the summer. Fall courses start in early September, spring in late January, and summer in late May.

CCV offers associate degrees in 20 areas, career-related certificates in eight areas, and credit and non-credit training programs. The curriculum includes liberal arts, business, human services, technology, and allied health.
