Squire House Bed and Breakfast, a country estate built in 1918, offers three guest rooms furnished with 18th and 19th century family antiques and oriental rugs or fine broadloom carpeting. For extended visits the Carriage House apartment is provided, featuring a large bedroom with queen size bed, full kitchen, bathroom with shower/tub, laundry, air conditioning, TV/VCR, and stereo. Full, three-course breakfasts are served in the paneled dining room, with English china, family silver, and fine linen. Area activities include hiking, hunting, bicycling, horseback riding, and back-road touring. Southern Vermont Arts Center and Bennington Museum are within easy reach.
