Londonderry is located in
Windham County, 32 miles south of
Rutland. It lies along Highway 11, at the junctions of highways 100 and 11. Green Mountain National Forest is nearby and numerous winter recreation opportunities are available. The name of the town comes from Londonderry, Ireland, where many Protestants fled during persecution in Scotland.
