Quechee is located in
Windsor County, 30 miles east of
Rutland and west of Lebanon along Highway 4.
A scenic portion of Quechee Gorge, "Vermont's Little Grand Canyon" lies west of Quechee. The bridge on US 4 that spans the gorge 162 feet above the Ottauquechee River provides a good view of this natural spectacle. A covered bridge leads into the small wooden-mill village.
Of special interest in Quechee is the annual Quechee Balloon Festival.
