Built in the late 1880's for Charles Woodhouse, a Vermont state senator, the house has had numerous owners. In 1996, the present owners renovated and transformed it into an inn that is now one of the prominent establishments in the heart of Burlington's beautiful Hill Section. There are 14 guest rooms with private bath, appointed with authentic and reproduction antiques. Tea and cookies are available in the solarium, with impressive view of Lake Champlain. In the gracious dining room, guests are invited to enjoy gourmet breakfasts.
