A handsome Victorian home within walking distance of downtown Barre, the Maplecroft B&B was built in 1887 by granite sculptor George Mackie. Maplecroft B&B is a short walk from downtown Barre, the Granite capital of the world, and is also close to Norwich University in Northfield, Plainfield's Goddard College, and the Statehouse in Montpelier.
