This Beautifully restored c.1843 Greek revival style home is listed on the Vermont State and National Historic Registers. In the 1850's prominent farmer Asahel Kidder owned the home. In 1880, Kidders son-in-law, Isaac Wood, began a dairy and creamery on the same land, known as Maplewood Farm. The Wood family operated the dairy until 1979. Maplewood offers panoramic country views, wonderful sunsets from our porch and a romantic and intimate atmosphere amid many fine antiques. The Bed and Breakfast is nestled at the base of the Green Mountains Lake Region near many recreational attractions. Shopping & great restaurants, close to all of Vermonts Treasures and Pleasures.
