The Legacy is acknowledged by many museums and collectors as the nation’s foremost source of traditional Northwest Coast Indian and Alaskan Native Art, both historic and contemporary. They exhibit museum quality baskets and artifacts from the previous century, and important objects of art by the leading Northwest Coast Indian artists. Contemporary masks ranging from small portrait masks to large and spectacular transformation pieces, drums, bentwood cedar boxes and chests, headdresses, button blankets, rattles, canoe models and full size canoe paddles are on display. Full size totem poles by renowned artists are available on the premises, as well as hand carved silver and gold Northwest coast bracelets, earrings, rings and pendants.
