The Captain Whidbey Inn (built in 1907 on the shores of Penn Cove) remains an authentic country inn providing comfortable lodging, good food and refreshing drink.

Guests can choose from several types of rooms: the cozy rooms in the main lodge (shared bath), more spacious "Lagoon Rooms" with private bath and a view of the lagoons, cabins with fireplaces, and larger cottages. All rooms have featherbeds, down comforters and antiques.

Proprietor John Colby Stone is also a sailing charter captain. Sailing and accommodation packages are available.
