Centennial Trail

Search Visit Washington

The popular seven-mile Centennial Trail between Snohomish and Lake Stevens is built on an abandoned railroad right-of-way. The paved trail is designated a national recreational trail and is open to walkers, bikers, hikers, and horseback riders. There are picnic areas along the route, which parallels the Pilchuck River in many spots.

Development of the trail began in 1989 during the state's centennial, hence the name, Centennial Trail.
