The Children's Museum of Tacoma opened in 1986 as a non-profit organization in the heart of downtown Tacoma. With its popularity, the museum outgrew its physical location, and so, in February 1997, the Museum opened the "new" Children's Museum of Tacoma.
The museum celebrates the power of play in the life-long journey of learning. Enjoy Curiosity Corner, a theater, and an art studio, among other fun things to do!
Admission is charged for those over 2. Every 1st Friday is Free Admission day!
