Cougar Washington |
A village on the north bank of Lewis River, Cougar is 24 miles NE of Woodland. Cougar can be your jump-off point for adventure on the south side of Mount St Helens. In 1980, the entire town of Cougar was evacuated because it was so close to the eruption.
