Cusick

Cusick is a sawmill town on Pend Oreille River, 20 miles north of Newport in Pend Oreille County. The town was named after Joe and Frank Cusick, pioneer brothers who operated a fleet of sternwheelers in the area. Cusick is home to the Pend Oreille County fairgrounds, with an annual agricultural fair that features exhibits, competitions, horse shows and 4-H events.
