Echo Valley Ski Area is no longer a secret. At 3000 feet elevation, just seven miles northwest of Chelan, it offers a family oriented downhill experience with three rope tows and a surface Poma Lift. Beginners through expert skiers enjoy the uncrowded slopes, low prices, day lodge, and outstanding snow conditions. Echo Valley is a privately owned, nonprofit organization formed 40 years ago to provide affordable skiing for Chelan Valley Skiers and winter visitors. Echo Valley is also the gateway to Echo Ridge, where 35 km of groomed, well signed trails await the novice or experienced skier. Both downhill and crosscountry areas are maintained through donations. Open Saturday & Sunday and Holidays from Dec. 15 - March 1 10 - 4 (snow permitting).
