GreenStage has been presenting Shakespeare’s plays in Seattle area parks since 1989. Its season includes three productions per year with a total of over 50 performances and the goal is to focus on story and characters, capturing the life and truth in the plays. With the largest audience possible, its performances are presented free of charge. The company relies on voluntary donations from contributors and the generous support of park departments, arts organizations and businesses.
