Despite receiving heavy winter snowfall, Colfax Golf Club is only closed four to six weeks annually, making it an almost year-round course. This casually oriented course lies beside the scenic Palouse River and is surrounded by many beautiful hills. Its washboard, yet gently rolling fairways are easy on the feet - contributing to the relaxed attitude with which most golfers approach this course. But don't get too relaxed; this course can be deceptive and surprise those who take it lightly. An ability to stay on the fairway will be a great asset, as most holes possess an out-of-bounds area. The course rating for the men is 67.9 and for the women it is 70.9.
