Glacier Peak

The most remote of the Washington's Cascade Mountains volcanoes, Glacier Peak is 10,541 feet high and is contained within the Glacier Peak Wilderness, just 70 miles northeast of Seattle.

The volcanoe has produced some of the largest and most explosive eruptions in the state, although there have been no recent eruptions.
