At Hinzerling, visitors are usually welcome into the cellar for tastings by one of our family members. Founded in 1976 by the Wallace family, Hinzerling is the Valley's oldest family-owned and operated winery. They specialize in small lots of hand-crafted, barrel, and bottle-aged red wines from Cabernet, Merlot, Lemberger, and Pinot Noir. They make three types of Port and other dessert wines such as Angelica and "late harvest" styles. Try the Gewurztraminer for a real taste treat. Write or call for newsletter with special events such as Library Tasting, Pesto Festival and Harvest Party. Open for tasting Mon-Sat 11:00-5:00 and Sun 11:00 to 4:00. Closed Sunday Christmas to March 1 except by appointment.
