Originally the Chicago-Milwaukee-St. Paul-Pacific Railroad constructed between 1908 and 1911.The Kittatas Section connects with the Easton Section at the town of Thorp. The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and covers about a quarter million acres.
