Isabella Lake Park

The site was homesteaded by Albert Insel in 1898. He started the farmhouse in 1908 and finished it in 1911. The family did not have electric power or a bathroom until 1963. Unfortunately, the farmhouse burned to the ground in 1992, but the shop and horse barn remain.

The park is about two miles south of Shelton of Highway 101
