Accessible only by boat, the park is located a half-mile east of Decatur Island on Rosario Strait. There are 13 primitive campsites and a boat dock. There is a marked trail for hiking as well as some less well-defined ones leading to various points on the island.
Park activities include picnicking, fishing, and scuba diving.
The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and covers about a quarter million acres.
