Featuring one of the oldest pioneer structures north of the Columbia River. This state historic site was an important meeting place during the organization of the Washington Territory. The small 1845 log cabin was also a stopover for pioneer travelers.
The structure, which served as the Jackson Courthouse as early as 1850, is in a small grassy park on Jackson's Prairie; its sparsely furnished interior can be viewed through the windows.
