The Lake Wenatchee area is located on the east slopes of the Cascade Mountains at an elevation of 2000 feet, just 25 miles west of Leavenworth and approximately 100 miles east of Seattle. Lake Wenatchee is the major lake in the area at approximately 5 miles long and 2400 acres in surface. Nearby Fish Lake, at 560 acres, is the only other lake with private land. Some 40 other small mountain lakes in the area are popular hiking destinations in the National Forest. Four scenic rivers total 120 miles. Average precipitation is about 39" of which some 60% falls as snow. Homes and cabins for sale.
