Methow Valley

The eastern gateway to the North Cascades National Park

Search Visit Washington
Up high in the North Cascades is a broad alpine valley with four times as many deer as people. The Methow Valley is considered Washington's equivalent of the Old West.

Although virtually unknown outside the Pacific Northwest, the area boasts the second-largest cross-country ski trail system in the United States.

The valley is also one of the world's finest areas for growing apples of all varieties.
