The town of
La Conner was once a fishing village, but today the historic town has blossomed into an artists' colony.
The museum began modestly in a renovated Victorian mansion, and since has moved into a 12,000 sq. ft. building. The museum is the only one anywhere devoted exclusively to Northwest art and artists. Exhibitions include paintings, sculpture, and the finest in Northwest glass.
