One of the major tributaries of the
Yakima River, the Naches River is formed by the confluence of the Little Naches River and American River. It is joined later by the
Tieton River and flows through the Naches Valley, past the town of
Naches and joins the
Yakima River at the northern outskirts of
Yakima.
