The college is a tribally controlled institution funded through the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The campus is located on the Lummi Indian Reservation, eight miles northwest of Bellingham. The 5-acre site includes a distance learning center, as well as a cultural arts center. Northwest Indian College offers a variety of educational programs, as well as conferences and seminars relevant to the Native American Community.
