Scheduled to begin construction in summer 2004, the Northwest Maritime Center will be a multi-purpose facility offering a variety of maritime educational programs, small boat building and restoration areas, and on-the-water activities.

There will also be a maritime resource library, gift shop, meeting rooms, exhibit spaces, and much more.
