In the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, the park features waterfalls, cliff formations, and huge old growth trees. The name Olallie comes from the Indian word "berry". Huckleberries grow in abundance at the park. The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and covers about a quarter million acres.
