The park is scheduled to open in 2004 and will provide much needed green space for downtown Seattle.
The park will become a vibrant 8.5-acre space for visitors to experience outdoor art and the unique environment of Puget Sound.
OSP will be located just minutes from Seattle Center and the Seattle Aquarium, and will be free to the general public.
There will be a permanent collection as well as temporary exhibits, and educational activities.
The park is the newest addition to the Seattle Art Museum.
