Paine High School provides a learning environment for students to learn, explore, evaluate, and discover. The school offers classes for English, math, science, social studies, physical education, business education and art. There is a learning opportunity center. The school holds 130 students, inclusive of the middle school. It also has a wilderness program, involving activities such as backpacking, rock climbing, canoeing, river rafting, downhill and cross-country skiing, mountain biking and day hike-fishing.
