On the east shores of Willapa Bay, Raymond is surrounded by waterways and marshlands, home to a myriad of wildlife. It is on Highway 101 in Pacific County.
Raymond began as a booming mill town, with 20 lumber mills processing Pacific Coast trees. There is also a Raymond, New Hampshire.
