Salmo-Priest Wilderness

The Salmo-Priest Wilderness occupies the extreme northeast corner of Washington, against the British Columbia and Idaho borders. It is included in the Colville National Forest and the Kaniksu National Forest and covers 50,775 acres. Two endangered species are found in the wilderness: grizzly bear and woodland caribou. There are 38 miles of hiking trails.
