Schafer State Park |

Contained within the 119 acres of the park are 4,200 feet of frontage on the Satsop River. The majority of the land was donated to the State of Washington by the Schafer Brothers Logging Company to be preserved as a state park.
A big attraction to park users is the abundance of steelhead, cutthroat trout, and salmon, making fishing a popular activity here. The park features picnicking, hiking, river floating, camping and a children's swing area.
The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and covers about a quarter million acres.
