Semiahmoo Spit

The spit was once the home of an ancient Salish coast tribe, known as the Semiahmoos. They lived in the villages from Point Roberts, around Boundary Bay to the Semiahmoo Spit and around to Birch Bay. The spit was also an ancient Lummi burial plot.
